Copper has been popping up more and more in interior design. Until recently copper was only accessible in high-end stores and in designer catalogues, but this desireable metal is becoming increasingly accessible.
Copper is versatile and can be used in almost any space, however it makes an especially large impact when placed in a room with mostly neutral tones. White, off white, beige and sand are beautiful when combined with a rusty warm glow of a copper accent.
The trick to using copper properly is to limit yourself to a few pieces, ensuring you don’t overwhelm the room with too much. Pick one anchor piece, such as a copper chandelier or pendant, and pair it with one or two other small pieces, such as book ends or candle holders.
